WHAT TO EXPECT
Your trip departs from the Green Parrot around 8 am. You will travel south by boat along the mangroves and up the Monkey River. With a Monkey River resident and Licensed Tour Guide leading the walk you will go through a pre-cut trail and have the unique opportunity to see green iguanas, gibnut, crocodiles, and black howler monkeys. For bird lovers, this is your opportunity to add some exotic species to your list.
The trip also includes a visit to the Village of Monkey River and a local style lunch. Your tour should return around 3 pm. Watch for the Manatee on the return trip.
