MAYAN TOURS

According to the Mayan calendar, December 2012 would be the end of the earth. Well, that never happened! What came to pass was a renewed interest in Mayan culture and history.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Green Parrot Beach Houses offers tours to several Mayan Ruins. The most developed of the ruins that we visit is Xunantunich, which is located on the border between Belize and Guatemala.

This is a full-day tour. You will depart around 7:30 am and return at 4:00 pm. You will need a hat, comfortable walking shoes, and sunblock. This tour includes both the lunch and the park fees.
